The Tucson Medical Center case against big pharma took a turn on Tuesday and has been remanded to Pima County Superior Court following a federal judge striking down the defendant’s request to stay proceedings and keep the case at the federal level.
Judge Raner Collins remanded the case in part because of a judicial decision made in Massachusetts presented by the plaintiff’s lawyers to the court. “The instant manner is on all fours with that case. This court will neither occasion further delay nor kill more trees in attempting to rehash Judge Hillman’s sound reasoning.”
No filings have been made at Pima County Superior Court since the case was remanded. Stay tuned for more legal developments.
